The inherant flexibility of the TC9000 system means it can do many things and as such installation will require a basic understanding of wiring and switching.  

If you've really no idea how to wire a plug or connect a light switch, you must seek expert advice or you could do some damage to yourself or your equipment.

 

If you plan to use your TC9000 system to upgrade from an existing manual heating and hot water programmer it's pretty straight forward and is a straight swap.  If you plan to set up a multi zone heating system and connect up a range of electrical circuits you will need to consult with your heating engineer/electrician or have an understaning of how zone valves work and basic circuits.
